Membership Categories
1. Full Member ($50): Any
accepted registered member of USAPI who is currently employed in the
capacity of a professional investigator for a period of no less that
one year, and who is at least 21-years of age. Proof of employment must
be provided.
2. Associate Member ($50):
Any individual who is a least 21-years of age and not employed as a
professional investigator but aspiring to enter the profession by
seeking professional development and educational opportunities provided
by the association.
3. Student Member ($25): Any individual who is currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
4. Agency/Corporate Member ($100):
Any professional investigative agency, company, or department with 2 or
more accepted candidates. There will be a 10% discount for any
additional agency accepted members after agency is accepted.
5. Professional Affiliate Member ($250): A professional affiliate member is a non-investigator professional or company that supports the mission of USAPI.
6. Association Member: The
“Association” membership is cost free and available to
every local, state, national and international association that
represents the interests of professional investigators. The individual
active members of these associations will receive a 10% discount on the
cost of the first year membership in USAPI, and the associations
themselves will have the ability to benefit from profit-sharing based
upon the exclusive attendance of their members at future USAPI

Membership Requirements
All applicants for membership of United States Association of Professional Investigators MUST:
1. Meet membership category requirements listed above.
2. Submit a photocopy of any state license, business license or proof of employment.
3. Provide (2) two passport size color head shot photographs or in digital .jpg format.
4. Submit required $25 application fee and first year’s dues with application.
5. Send completed and signed application with all required enclosures to:
